Press On Nails Australia

Press-on nails have improved in so many ways since the ’80s and ’90s!

Remember the press-on nails that would look cheap and that would easily pop off? However, today’s versions are made with high-quality plastic and super adhesives that last way longer. (According to some experts, they can last as long as a week.)

Adeline Sarino, national director of nails at The Red Door Salon & Spa, said “I call them Cinderella nails.” Today Style reported this recently. “They are perfect for an event or if you are too pressed for time to visit the nail salon,” he added.

Like many do-it-yourself beauty hacks, you need to follow directions and affix them properly. If you do, Sarino says they can last for a week. Plus, there are tons of options you can choose from.

In the drugstore nail section, you’ll see a variety of full-coverage press-on nails that are cute and trendy mixed with classic styles and also premade with nail art on them. You can even find full-coverage nails that you can glue and decorate yourself,” she said.

For customers who have a particular nail shape they prefer, choices are plenty, too.

“I love that they come in a variety of shapes — from the square, round and stiletto — to suit what you’re looking for. The press-on nails often come in a kit with sticky tape, glue, a nail file and easy-to-follow directions. I love that some of the kits come with glue that is tinted pink for French looks. It really gives the nail a natural look when the tips are on,” Sarino shared.
